FOR STUDENTS ATTENDING (who have booked their place)

FEES AND WEAPONS: For those coming from a distance, we have agreed that you pay cash on the door.  Most of you who have enrolled for the fan or sword have let us know if you need to borrow a weapon. Again, if you wish to borrow a fan or sword, we need to know well in advance so we can be sure to have enough to hand. Alternatively you can order for yourself a telescopic sword and/or a 13 inch practice fan in the UK from Taichi Link.

DRESS CODE: Gianna’s school in Rome is quite traditional: students wear white Taiji suits; teachers wear dark blue; masters wear black (and sometimes

bright colours). May we ask you to wear white or at least a white top of some sort with black trousers. This uniformity will also make for good photos!

WAITING TIME AND REFRESHMENTS: If you are coming for one session, skipping one, then taking another, you may wish to spend the in between hour in the neighborhood. We ask that participants do not stay to watch other sessions due to limitation of space at the Community Centre..

So we remind you there is a nice cafe almost next door called the Coffee Cup. It is ithe longest surviving coffee bar in Hampstead (established in 1954) with little change in decor. So it has real atmostphere as well as great coffee, fresh mint tea, quick meals and fine cakes. (It is famous among us for serving hungry martial artists tasty raisin toast). Across from the Coffee Cup is a Cafe Rouge. Waterstone’s is close by too but closes at 8.00 pm.

QUERIES: Do get in touch if you have any questions or trouble with logistics. For those who drive, there is parking after 6.30 pm, with spaces often available near the Community Centre on Prince Arthur Road.

LOOKING FORWARD TO TRAINING WITH YOU AT GIANNA’S WORKSHOP,
